INDIAN KNOWLEDGE SYSTEM-VEDIC MATHEMATICS
The National Level Workshop on "Indian Knowledge System - Vedic Mathematics" offered an
immersive exploration into the ancient mathematical principles embedded in Vedic literature.
Students delved into the unique techniques and strategies of Vedic Mathematics, gaining insights
into how these traditional methods can enhance computational efficiency and problem-solving
skills.
Led by expert faculty Mr. Rohan Garg (IIM-C Alumnus, Founder of 6 Start-ups) in the field, the workshop
provided a platform for students to understand the historical context of Vedic Mathematics and its
application in contemporary education. Through interactive session, students engaged in practical
exercises, mastering Vedic mathematical concepts that offer alternative approaches to arithmetic and
algebra. The workshop aimed to revive and promote the understanding of Vedic Mathematics,
showcasing its relevance in modern mathematical education.
