The Department of Business Intelligence at B.K. School of Professional and Management Studies, Gujarat University, recently organized a Feasibility Analysis Competition (FAR 2026), offering students a platform to transform their business ideas into practical, reality-tested concepts. The competition went beyond conventional evaluation metrics such as problem–solution fit. Instead, student projects were assessed on rigorous and realistic dimensions of feasibility, including technical viability, financial sustainability, marketing potential, operational clarity, organizational alignment, risk mitigation, legal compliance, and scenario planning. Participants were also expected to justify their decisions with strong logic, structured thinking, and data-backed evidence. What set the event apart was the depth and maturity reflected in the students’ work. Their articulation, use of data, and visual storytelling demonstrated a high level of preparedness and analytical ability. Each idea was carefully developed by considering real-world dynamics involving companies, collaborators, competitors, and customers. Several teams elevated their presentations by showcasing prototypes, product samples, and compelling promotional materials, adding a tangible dimension to their ideas. One particularly noteworthy concept was a café model that sells time as a primary commodity—a thought-provoking response to the growing need for meaningful spaces in today’s fast-paced urban life. Such ideas highlighted not only creativity but also a deep sensitivity to evolving societal needs. Beyond the projects themselves, what stood out was the dedication and commitment of the participants. The efforts reflected sustained investment—physically, emotionally, and intellectually—over an extended period. As observed during the event, this was not merely an academic assignment, but a true commitment to innovation and execution.
