Launch of NSS Unit and First Community Outreach Activity Image Gallery
The Department of Business Intelligence, B. K. School of Professional and Management Studies, Gujarat University, has proudly initiated the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Mamta Brahmbhatt, Head of the Department, and Dr. Yagnesh Patni, Program Officer. As its first community outreach initiative, the NSS unit visited the Footpath Open Night School located in Ambawadi. The activity aimed to engage with underprivileged children and contribute meaningfully to their educational journey. During the visit, the NSS team celebrated the festival of Holi with the students, creating a joyful and inclusive environment filled with colors and happiness. To support the children’s learning needs, the team also distributed sweets and stationery kits among the students. The initiative reflected the department’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement. Through this activity, students of the department not only experienced the joy of service but also developed a deeper understanding of empathy, teamwork, and the importance of giving back to society.
