Industrial visit - Parle Industries, Bhuj Image Gallery
The Department organized an industrial visit to Parle Industries, Bhuj, with the objective of providing students practical exposure to large-scale manufacturing operations and corporate working environments. The visit offered valuable insights into the functioning of one of India’s most trusted FMCG brands. During the visit, students were introduced to the complete production process, starting from raw material procurement to final packaging and quality inspection. The technical team explained the importance of automation, hygiene standards, and quality control measures followed at every stage of production. Special emphasis was given to operational efficiency, safety protocols, and compliance with industry standards. Students also gained an understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and distribution strategies adopted by Parle to maintain consistency and meet large-scale consumer demand. The interaction with industry professionals helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real world industrial practices. Overall, the industrial visit proved to be a highly enriching learning experience, enhancing students’ practical knowledge and motivating them to understand the application of management and business concepts in a real industrial setup. The visit successfully strengthened industry–academia linkage and provided meaningful exposure to corporate operations.
