Day 2 of the National Level Seminar on Research Software Package continued with an enriching hands-on workshop led under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Mamta Brahmbhatt, Head of the Department of Business Intelligence. The session focused on strengthening participants’ Excel skills, beginning with essential formatting techniques that enhance data clarity, structure, and professional presentation—an important component of research reporting. A major highlight of the workshop was the practical introduction to VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP, two powerful functions used to search, extract, and organize information from extensive datasets. Through live demonstrations, participants learned how these lookup tools streamline data analysis, reduce manual effort, and support accurate decision-making in research activities.
