The Department of Business Intelligence, BKSPMS, Gujarat University, organized a National Level Seminar on Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) on September 27, 2025, exclusively designed to enhance students’ research skills. The session was conducted by Dr. Ashwin Jadeja, Deputy Manager, Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd., who provided students with a comprehensive understanding of SEM, covering its theoretical concepts, statistical foundations, and applications in business research. The seminar emphasized how SEM can be used to analyze complex relationships between variables, making it an essential tool for advanced academic projects and professional decision-making. Guided by Prof. (Dr.) Mamta Brahmbhatt, Head of the Department of Business Intelligence and Organizing Secretary, the seminar enabled students to strengthen their methodological knowledge, build confidence in handling research models, and prepare for higher-level academic inquiry. This initiative reflected the department’s continuous efforts to bridge theory with practice and empower students with cutting-edge analytical techniques.
