On June 26, 2023, a significant event unfolded as International Drug Awareness Day was organized by Ahmedabad City Police in coordination with BKBI. The event was graced by the honorable presence of the Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City, the Vice Chancellor of Gujarat University, and other esteemed dignitaries, including the Joint Police Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Police of Ahmedabad City. The campaign witnessed the participation of distinguished guests such as Shri Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad, CP Shri Premvir Singh, Shri Neeraj Badgujar, S.O.G DCP Shri Jayrajsinh Vala Sir Crime Ahmedabad, and Shri DCP Dr. Lavina Sinha, Ma'am of Zone 1 Ahmedabad. The speakers for the event, Shri Dr. Spandan Thakar and Shri Dr. Prashant Bhimani, added their expertise to shed light on the critical issue of drug abuse. This collaborative effort underscored the commitment to addressing societal challenges and promoting awareness within the community.
